Sheema’s work occupies the exciting realm between fine art and graphic design; the juxtaposition of contemporary iconic graphic imagery, traditional painting techniques and the overlaying of various textured or reflective media results in a strikingly seductive yet distinctive style.

Her powerfully assured use of form and flat colour reflects Sheema’s love of all things ‘Modernist’ and reveals her eye for technical detailing, developed during her formal training and previous career as an Architect.

Sheema’s work is heavily influenced by her British Indian upbringing; her art embraces the quirky and urban qualities inherent within much contemporary British graphic design, whilst retaining a vibrant ethnic flavour.

Limited Edition Fine Art Prints

Giclée Print

‘Giclée’ is the term given to the digital printing process through which each print is produced. A Giclée is a recognised and collectable category of fine art.

All of Sheema’s Limited Edition Fine Art Prints are produced by a Fine Art Trade Guild Approved Printer. All prints are produced using the finest archival museum quality paper, affording an ultra smooth and rich Giclée finish. This prestigious archival printing process ensures that the prints do not fade or age and are guaranteed to have a colour life of 75 years.

Certificate of Authenticity

Each print is accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity stating the number specific to that edition and is signed by both the Artist and Printer. Since the certificate forms an integral part of the investment in the fine art print, it advised that it is kept securely and preferably separately from the print.

Protection of Investment

For maximum protection and longevity of an investment in any limited edition fine art print, it is advised that the print be treated with the same regard as an original watercolour. Therefore it is advisable to ensure that the print be appropriately framed and displayed under glass to protect the image surface from the environment and hung in a position that avoids exposure to intense direct sunlight, high heat or humidity.
